I am working on a multichannel balanced audio input circuitry.
The balanced audio input should be universal to allow greatest input level flexibility.
It should support MIC input levels and standard balanced levels up to +24dbu. Analog switches will be used to select the different gain and attenuation settings.
I am wondering if there are good alternatives for INA163 and INA217.
I understand that LM49724 can load down the input source because of the gain-setting resistors.
I also understand the 3 parts of LME49743 (Datasheet Figure 43) can do the same job as INA163 at slightly worse noise performance (3.5 nV/√Hz instead of 1 nV/√Hz for INA613). The advantages are lower cost and smaller footprint.
Can you recommend any other MIC preamp with acceptable CMR and noise performance?
Thanks
Thomas
