Hi all

Would you mind if we ask TL3474?

How much is the absolute maximum rating about IN+, IN- ?
Especially, when the VCC=0V(no power), is it possible to input 36V?

Hirotaka-san,

To make up for the delay, I put this lab test first.

Inputs can go up to VCC maximum regardless of VCC without damage.
The inputs block current flow even when inputs exceed VCC.
Yes, +36V relative to pin 11 is allowed with VCC =0V.

While not guaranteed or recommended, my test unit did block current past +60V

Just in case, we would like to confirmation one point.

About negative voltage, is it possible to input -0.3V in case of Vcc=0V?
We guess that Absoulute maximum rating is -0.3V to 36V with Vcc=0V.
Is it correct?

Hirotaka san,

There is a diode to ground. Currents less than -10mA will not damage the TL3474. It is best if series resistance limits current to less than -1mA.

At -0.3V no diode current will flow so that is also safe.
