TLE2426 rail splitter problem?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLE2426

Hi from a 3 day old user. I seem to be getting some odd behavior from the TLE2426 model. All it does is output half the input voltage, but transient analysis seems to get it wrong. Or just maybe it's me? Circuit and my output attached, i hope.tle2426 cct.TSC

  • Hi Steve,

I am unable to open your .TSC file with TINA. Something about the file seems corrupted.

I just checked the TLV2426 Spice syntax and I can see that it is based on a 1990 Boyle op amp model. That is sort of the dark ages when it comes to simulation model sophistication. The model probably provides fair dc and ac performance accuracy, but not so for the transient response.

If you can provide a clean .TSC file we can take a look.

  • No idea what happened to the file, but I fixed the problem by earthing the -ve of the battery I was using to provide voltage. I'm new to this, bear with me.

    Thanks

  • Hi Steve,

No problem, glad you were able to get things going.
