Dear all,

I would buy the evaluation board evm INA 282-286. what is the maximum rating current supported by the board?

do you think it supports a maximum current of 5 A?

Hi Carmine,

The PCB traces on the board are 40mil and using a PCB calculator(you can find anywhere on the web) you could go up to approximately 2.4A and go up 10 degrees C. You can also use an external shunt and not run the current through the PCB and just sense the voltage with the EVM.
