INA301A2-Q1 question about device safety when the shut resistor between differntial inputs breaks connection

Device: INA301A2-Q1

Question is about when "-in" is near or at 0VDC and when "+in" is @19VDC scenario due to a shut resistor breaking connection and the load pulling towards ground: Will the device survive in this scenario when an apparent internal current draw of 9.4 mA exists between the differential input pins? It seems there exists an internal equivalent resistance of about 2kΩ between the differential pins when tested.

This potential device current draw, mentioned above, can be avoided using an FET as a switch off the "-in" terminal, however, that adds a lot more silicon if it can be avoided.

Thank you for any information that may assist.
