OPA4251: OPA4251UA Max Input Offset voltage

Part Number: OPA4251
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA251, OPA241

Hi,

Could you let me know Max input offset voltage of OPA4251UA, please?
Customer wants to know information at "Ta = 25°C " and "Ta = –40°C to +85°C".
Customer condition is "Vs =28V (Single supply)".

Best regards,
Shimizu

  • Hi,

How is the progress about this question?

  • Hello Shimuzu,

We do not provide a maximum offset voltage or maximum offset voltage drift for the OPAx251 devices.  If the customer requires maximum specifications they should use the OPAx241 devices which feature better typical specifications as well as a maximum value for offset and drift.

  • Hello Shimuzu,

I made a mistake in my previous message.  The OPA241 is optimized for a low-voltage supply voltage and the OPA251 is optimized for a high-voltage power supply.  Therefore the OPA241 features maximum offset and offset drift specifications for lower supply voltages of +2.7 - +5.5V and the OPA251 features maximum specifications at higher supply voltages near +/-15V.

Therefore, use the second specification table in the OPA251 datasheet when operating with a +28V supply, which is very similar to a +/-15V dual supply.  I've copied it below for reference and the maximum specifications are listed.
