    Hi Chen,

    Measuring low current levels is often relegated to the appropriate instrumentation amplifier (IA); most often a three op-amp configuration. A TI Precision Design for a 10 µA-10 mA, Single-Supply, Low-Side, Current Sensing Solution has been developed and may serve as a starting point for a design for an even lower current sense design. It uses the INA326 three op-amp IA.

    Three LMP2021 op-amps could be configured as a three op-amp IA similar to that shown on the first page of the LMP2021 datasheet. The resistors would be selected to achieve the required voltage gain. Very high precision (costly) resistors are required for accurate gain and CMRR performance. That is why the three op-amp IA solutions are often a selected over building one discretely.
