OPA2836: Output impedance in power down state?

Part Number: OPA2836

Hello, What would impedance be looking into the output of the OPA2836 when the device is in power down state?

  • Hi,

The OPA2836 output impedance will mainly be the feedback (Rf) and gain (Rg) setting resistors when the device is in power down state.

  • Thanks Rohit,

One other question- In the power down state what is the leakage or isolation at the output if an input signal is present?
  • Hi,

The leakage at the output would mainly be determined by the op-amp configuration for an input signal.
If it is a non-inverting gain configuration, then I don't expect much signal (or less than -80dBc depending upon frequency) to feed through at the output in power down state.
In an inverting gain configuration in power down state, the signal fed through at the output would mainly be determined by the gain (Rg) and feedback (Rf) resistors for a given input signal.

    Best Regards,
    Rohit
