INA114: INA114 bottom marking

Part Number: INA114

Hello, All,

My customer noted that inside of single lot bottom marking is vary. Am I right that bottom marking is the unique incremental chip number inside of lot?

The second questions in surface condition. Top surface is smooth and bottom surface is rough one. Is this OK

Best regards,

Dmitry

  • Hello Dmitry,

I checked the assembly documentation for the INA114, it only specifies the the topside marking marking requirements. The topside image corresponds to the correct format. There aren't instructions for bottom side marking of the device in that documentation.

I checked with our Quality department and they indicated that the underside is sometimes marked by the product assembler. The codes they use are for internal purposes and lot tracking.

The finish on the topside may be different than on the bottom side. It comes down to the injection mold finish. The topside may be made smother to accommodate the product laser marking.

    Regards, Thomas
