LM393-N: Difference input voltage and output switching

I'm using LM393-N as a basic comparator setup.  

the reference voltage (connected to pin 3) is  set up through a basic voltage divider circuit from 1.930 - 2.723v 

Vin (connected to pin 2) as a voltage input can vary from 1.6 to 2.8

the problem happens when Vref is set >=2.2, then Vin can switch the output state even when less than 30mV

I noticed that the more Vref is set, the more the difference between Vref and Vin to change the output state.

When Vref= 2.617, I need only Vin = 2.335v to trip the output low.

The comparator is supplied with 3.3v
