OP07D: OP07DD Spec Question

Part Number: OP07D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV07, OP07

Hi Team,

May I know TLV07 RTM schedule?

Looks Analod Device OP07DRZ operation temp from -40 degree to 125 degree. Currently OP07DD operation tem rating not enough.

  • Hello Kuo,

Thank you for the great question! Since you are talking about the TLV07 I am presuming you found it on TI.com as an APL device. APL allows you to order preproduction samples of the device so you can start prototyping on our latest material. You can find the link to the product folder here: www.ti.com/.../TLV07

To answer your specific question, you are in luck. The TLV07 will RTM September 6th, 2017 so just over a week away.

Order some free samples and let me know if I can help with anything else.

    Thank you,
    Raphael
  • Dear Sir,

    Thanks for your reply.
Looks new parts has no extenal offset trim. Why?

    Regards,
    Duke
  • Hello Duke,

    Thanks for the great question!

With the OP07, adjusting the input offset voltage by choosing appropriate values for OFFSET N1 and OFFSET N2 does allow you to brings Vos closer to zero at room temperature. However, the temperature coefficient of the input offset voltage of this op amp remains fairly constant. What you end up with is simply a shift in the offset curve over temperature. Most industrial applications experience a wide temperature range.

The TLV07 is positioned for applications where our customers are happy with the very good level of 100 µV maximum input offset voltage. In addition, the TLV07 offers a wider operating temperature range, 2.5 times less power consumption, lower input bias current and increased GBW.

    Thank you,
    Raphael
