PGA870: Using a transformer based differential to single ended converter output stage

Part Number: PGA870

Hi,

Can you please confirm if the following topology is fine, wherein I use a transformer based differential to single ended conversion stage as shown below, to use the converted output to drive a single ended buffer? Assume input resistance of the buffer is 100kohms

Thanks,

Anoop

  • Hi Anoop,

You might want to put in a 50-ohm resistor to GND at the non-inverting (+) input of the buffer to match the impedance of the Transformer on the single-ended side. Otherwise, the schematic looks good.

    Best Regards,
    Rohit
