ISO124: Technology of the ISO124

Part Number: ISO124
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO120, ISO121

Hello,

I have a few questions iso124U.

1. I would like to know if the ISO124U is of bipolar technology only or CMOS or TTL?

2. Has the ISO124 been used before for any aerospace application?

3. Is ISO120, ISO121 and ISO124 using the same die or the same assembly process and have similar designs?

4. What is the temperature rating of ISO124U?Datasheet says -40°C to 85°C and TI site says -40°C to 125°C

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

Annais

  • Hi Annis!

The ISO124 is built on a bipolar process. I'm not aware of any specific aerospace project that the ISO124 was used on, but that's not to say for sure that is has not been. I just don't have any way to know where the part was deployed over the years since it was brought to the market back in the early 1990's. All of the ISO12x family use a similar process and design. The specified operating range of the ISO124 is -25 to 85 C.

We do have a smaller isolation amplifier that will accommodate +/-10V inputs coming on line a little later this year. If you are interested in hearing more about that, please let me know and I'll arrange to get you some details on the part.
  • Hi Tom,

Thanks for the quick response and all your answers. Yes I will very much like to know more about the smaller isolation amplifier. Please send me infos about the parts.

    Thanks and regards,
