AMC1311: For AC Voltage Sensing

Customer is intrested in the AMC1311 for the AC mains sensing. Customer found the input environment noise would affect the output performance.

1. Could you help to check if below circuitry is ok or need to be improved?

2. Is there AMC13xx ref. design with AC voltage sensing?

3. Is there other suggestion for AC mains sensing with AMC device?

Application: PV Inverter

Watts: 50KW

Input voltage: 277Vac to 370Vac

Hi Brian,

I'm not sure if there is a TIPD specifically for the AMC1311 in a PV Inverter, but I'll look around and let you know. As for the schematic, I don't see anything 'wrong' per se, so feel free to shoot me a note with a little more detail if you like. Can you also give me a bit more detail on what we are looking at with the scope traces you posted?

Regarding to the scope, yellow->Input, Red->Output and green one is current.
1. Please help to recommend the circuitry since engineer is planning to do the layout.
2. Please advice if there is any similar ref. design with AMC13xx for AC mains voltage sensing?

Hi Brian,

Here are a few TIPD's you can review: We have used AMC1301 and AMC1100, AMC1200 in TIDA-00834 and TIDA-00810 and TIDA-00835 for measuring the AC voltage input. Additionally we have TIDA-00555 that showcases measurement of Voltage and Current using AMC1100. These would be a good starting point for AMC13xx devices.
