LM5056A: Regarding to accuracy specification

I got following questions from customer.
Could you please give me answer?

1.
SNVS827A datasheet offers accuracy information like IINACC, VIN accuracy, etc with min and max.

What is standard deviation for these percentage specifications?
(1σ ? 2σ ? 3σ ?)

2.
Do you have factory test for accuracy (min/max) before shipping?

3.
Does the accuracy spec involme the impact of temperature change?

4.
Does "Figure 11. VOUT Measurement Error " offer typical value, not min/max?

5.
How to calculate total output error?
Can you share me an example if possible?

Hi Na na,

these should be 3sigma specifications. Otherwise they would be senseless for a max and min specification.

Hello Na na,
1) The industry standard is 3sigma.
2) We do screen our parts with factory tests to ensure they fall within our datasheet limits before shipping them out.
3) I presume by accuracy spec, you mean Vout measurement error. These correspond to stable operating temperatures.
4) Figure 11 is a typical value derived from an average curve of all the samples the characterization team evaluated.
5) There are multiple sources of error including offset, CMRR, PSRR, gain error, linearity, etc. I would recommend you watch the following video series to understand how to calculate the total error. training.ti.com/getting-started-current-sense-amplifiers
