ONET8551T: about the sensitivity of ONET8551T

Hi dear supporting team,

for ONET8551T, the d/s mentioned its sensitivity is -20dBm, while in the test report, it shows 20uVpp input current test result, which in calculation is lower than -20dBm, right? tks!

Hi Vera,

I think it should be possible to use the ONET8551T with lower sensitivity than -20dBm, as you are correct that the 20uApp should result in lower than -20dBm input power level. Usually, an APD diode is used for sensing such low input power levels.
