TLV2374-Q1: Negative overvoltage for Vin pin

Part Number: TLV2374-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA2171-Q1, LT1014, LT1013

Hi

I found this post. I understand the some method is allowable to prevent the negative input for this device.(input resistance and clamping diode)

On the other hand,is there any device can withstand -1.0V of input?I found some device. (TLV7322: (-V)-0.8V? , OPA2171-Q1:(-V)-0.5V)

Could you provide the other device if you have?

Best Regards,

  • Hamamoto-san,

Can I ask for a little more detail about why you want this capability? What type of condition are you expecting? Some op-amps will be able to support this condition and not break, but they will not operate properly. It is usually easy to add a protection circuit to prevent stressing the device.

That said, a couple parts that could be used are the LT1013 and LT1014. They both support input voltages well below the negative supply.
