Hi,

Is LM224J a Hi-Rel part ? Why is this part costly as compared to other variants of LM224 ?

Atul,

For high reliability device, try LM124J which is MIL-PRF-38535 per it's data sheet. However that device is double the price.
Ceramic device will cost more than 'plastic' devices at a much lower price. Are you in need of a part with a high rel qualification?
