THS4601: how to read input offset voltage spec in our datasheet

Part Number: THS4601

Hi Team,

Customer has a quick question regarding to THS4601 datasheet spec.

Customer wants to know if their system ambient can go to 80C.

To determine total input offset voltage, should they refer to 5mV(-40~85C) directly, or 4mV (25C) + 10uV/C (drift) * (80C-25C).

How to read this spec we provided? Thanks.

Hi Andrew,

as the average offset voltage drift specification is only a typical value and no maximum value, it is the 5mV maximum input offset voltage specification which represents the worst case.

Hi Andrew,

Did this resolve your issue? Kai is correct.

Parts will have many different 25C offsets up to +/-4mV, and most of them will only drift 10uV/C. But 5mV is the worst offset at 85C that was allowed to ship.
