OPA2379: customer designed integrator with OPA2379,and met overshoot issues during test process

Part Number: OPA2379

Dears:

our customer is testing hardware circuit, and find overshoot issues in the circuit, please help analyze it, thanks!

I recommend an increase in the size of R116 from 22 to something in the 10k range. Driving a 1uf capacitor load with a low power amplifier is very challenging.  If this brings the low pass filter pole too low, you may need to decrease the size of the 1uf cap. Even if you decrease to nF range, I still recommend the 10k resistor change.

  • Hi Michael,

And I would remove C43 and C44. They are eroding the phase margin and cause output voltage ringing.
