Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO7741, LM311, LM6511, DAC5311
I have a number of bipolar (+/- 3.5V) signals that need to be individually compared to a programmable threshold to drive a LVTTL digital input (ISO7741 isolator).
A thorough search shows me that a programmable threshold comparator (voltage output DAC + comparator) is not something that exists. As such, I am now looking for a comparator with bipolar inputs, an output that will be compatible with LVTTL, and will run off of my +/- 5V rails. So far, I haven't found anything by any manufacturer since all parts that are close don't have a ground pin for the output. I could add a second comparator and a transistor or a couple of transistors to the output, but I'd rather create a smaller solution if one exists. Thoughts?
