TSM104W: LM614 alternative

Hello dear Amps Team,

Since the LM614 is EOL, I am searching for an alternative. I was recommended the TSM104W as such, however, I am not sure, if it is fully compatible. And if not, what are the main differences and what would be the better alternative? And which packages are available for the TSM104W, I would need the SO16W, or the SO16L.

Hello Catarina,

Actually, the TSM102 would be the replacement for the LM613, as the LM613 has two comparators and two op-amps and a reference.

Functionally they are nearly identical. The TSM is a somewhat improved device, but there are differences, particularly in the packages. The end designer would need to compare the individual specs and determine which are important to them.

The LM613 only came in the SOIC-16 Wide "DW" package, which is larger than the standard TSM102 PW package. So the footprints will not be comparable, so it is not a drop-in replacement.
