BUF602: O/P ttl Level

Part Number: BUF602

I had given 5V TTL signlas from LVC series level translator to BUF602 but o/p TTL level is 3.3V.  The power supplies to BUF602 are +5V and -5V. PLease provide a solution to take 5V TTL level as O/P.

If BUF602 cannot give 5V TTL Level, then suggest an alternative for  BUF602 to take 5V TTL Level O/P for Telemetry  application to improve the quality of the signals upto20MBps. The system is 50OHM impedance in which this will be used.

  • Hi Irbaz and welcome to e2e,

I don't understand. Are you saying that you have a 5V input and you are unable to get a 5V output from the BUF602? With a +-5V supply, the output range is Vs+ - 1.2V to Vs- +1.2V. If you require a 0V-5V output, you will need to adjust your supplies such that you are within that range.
If you are saying that you have a 0V-5V signal that you want to convert into 0V-3.3V, you can add a resistor divider at the BUF602 output. 75.9Ω in series with 147Ω will turn a 0Ω, 5V output into a 3.3V, 50Ω output.

    Best regards,

    Sean
