OPA860: OPA860 sample and hold

Hi Kai,

I am now implement the sample and hold circuit with OPA860 now, and the sample and hold seems good.

But I have a question about the circuit.

What is the purpose of SD1 and R8 in the schematic?

Hi Ric,

SD1 clamps the "collector" of OPA860 to about -0.6V and prevents SD2 from discharging C5 after the input pulse has gone:

R8 helps to cancel the effect of leakage currents.
