Please, explain:  you mean that, if to feed the TLV1704 and the pull-up from different supplies, then the values of these voltages may differ. And it can lead to failure of the  TLV1704? Even, if the difference is very small - 200-300 mV?

    Hi Vladimir,

    during power-up or power-down the voltages can rise or fall unequally. Then through the pull-up a current can be injected into the output pin of TLV1704. This need not necessarily destroy the chip, but can result in latch-up or other unexpected behaviour.
