AMC1301: Nois of the AMC1301

Part Number: AMC1301

Hello.

I use AMC1301 together with ADC ADS8865I. I was analysing noise this pair with schematic on the picture.

I got result that have some differents from parameter of the datasheet, for my see.

In the datasheet of the AMC1301 the SNR 71dB with BW 100kHz.

If I right calculated 71dB from fullscale of the output signal it 0.3*8.2/10^(71/20)=693uV. Where are 0.3 max voltage on the input, 8.2 gain. For 16bits ADC with 3Vref it will be about 7-8 LSB, but I see realy about 40LSB noise p-p. RMS of this noise about 8 LSB. I tested ADS8865I   without AMC1301 with passive components on the input and short cirsuit on the common mode choke, see picture.

I have noise about 1 LSB. From this I saw that 20-40LSB it noise AC1301.

For clean experiment I powered AMC1301 from battery LiFePO4 to both side, but it not help, the level of noise was same, about 40LSB p-p.

Say me please, how I need understand 71dB? And what noise must be peak to peak?

Best regards,

Sergey Gaidashyov.
