THS6301: Question about the Power Dissipation of THS6301IRSAR

Hi team,

As customer want to know the max power dissipation of THS6301RSAR when it works, and I see dynamic power consumption and quiescent current in the datasheet. To get the max power dissipation, whether we need to add this two? for example, when THS6301 is working at the drive mode 1, the total power dissipation would be P=220mW+15.9mA*12, is it right?

have you seen the "Bias 0Z" curve in figure 26 of datasheet?

Hello Zhengquan,

As Kai has mentioned Figures 25 and 26 give an insight to the total power being consumed by the device based on the line power being used. The dynamic power consumption spec in the datasheet includes the quiescent current power consumption and does not need to be added.
