We did electrical test on 4 of the LM358AP products (namely the IV test), some of the DC1838 DC1849 products had over 10% test curve offset. The attached photos demonstrate more about the test curve offset. The photos horizontal line is marked with Volt and the vertical line marked with mA. You can see from the pictures that the samples demonstrated different test curves.

The part of the curve in question has pin 4 negative which power the device on with a voltage less than needed for proper operation. The curve can vary based on conditions of the other pins. The standard method for pin trace is to ground all other pins. This provide a different curve. Even this curve is not certain because inputs are all at VCC level and output pins are shorted to VCC.

Because the sweep powers the device with unknown input state and output loads, there is no reason to believe that there is a device deficiency.
Followup with the material test. We found tough material surface. The attached photos can see several particles standout. Should we be concerned?
