TIPD144: I use LM393 to change TLV3201. There's a problem.

I use the same circuit as figure, just change TLV3201 to LM393. The problem is when I input a sine wave between VH and VL, the Multisim simulate output result is a square wave. Shouldn't it be a low level signal?

What is the amplitude of the sine wave? It is hard to tell from your graph. Is VL of the sine wave at 2.3V and VH at 2.7V? If so, then the output will toggle as input reaches the VH and VL thresholds. Output signal will only stay low if your signal stays above 2.7V, and will stay high when below 2.3V.

Hi user,

I agree with Jonathan. The circuit will not work with the TLV3201 either, because your signal amplitude is too low. So either increase the signal amplitude or decrease the hysteresis.
