Slew rate is measured by applying a large signal step to the input of the amp and measuring the rate of change from 10% to 90% of the output signal's amplitude. The data sheet "Large-Signal Step Response" is an indication of the amplifier slew rate. We share this graph in the datasheet (Figures 36 and 37) so you can see both the rising (positive) and falling (negative) slew rates.
The OPA2156 also has a slew rate limit for input protection. This is described further in section 8.1.1 of the datasheet. Basically, there is one amp internal to the device which provides slew-rate control for applications that require symmetrical slew-rate (rising positive slew rate = falling negative slew rate = 40V/µs).
