INA207: Absolute max voltage for V+/-

Part Number: INA207

Dear Support team,

According to datasheet, in absolute maximum voltage of V+/- at common mode is defined as -18~80V. Is it non-relation with Vs condition, Vs=open or Vs=0V?
When V+/- has some voltage level at "Vs=0V" condition, will any leakage voltage appear at other pins?

Best Regards,
Hirokazu Takahashi

  • Hello Hirokazu,

Thanks for considering to use Texas Instruments.  The specification in the absolute maximum conditions table indicate the VCM voltage does not depend Vs.  Therefore, the -18-80V applies to both Vs=0V and Vs=open.

As Vs=0V condition falls outside of the operating conditions specified in the datasheet, I need to check with our design engineers or do a bench test.  As such I will try to have an answer for you tomorrow morning.

  • Hello Hirokazu,

I did a bench test with VCC=GND=0V and VIN+=12V.  I measured the following voltages with a 3401a multimeter.
