TLV7021: TINA-TI error

Part Number: TLV7021

Hi,

Though I would like to simulate by "General" generator, error occurs as the attached file.

TLV7021 test 20190806.TSC

※Sorry for using Japanese

Can we solve this problem?

We have confirmed that we can execute simulation in the case of "Square" generator.

Best Regards,

Kuramochi

  • Kuramochi-san,

I'm unsure why the convergence error is occuring in this case. I was able to verify that in the case of a square generator or a pulse generator, that the simulation can run.

I'm not sure why the simulation is rejecting your 10ns edges on your voltage generator. I played with it and increased the rise/fall time of the edges to 50ns, and the part was able to converge and the simulation showed the part behaving as expected.

I am unaware of any reason why the part in real life wouldn't be able to accept these fast edges... are those rise/fall times of 10ns at 30mVpp be the real world application use?

    Regards,
