Hello,

I have some question regarding the OA699 wideband high gain voltage limiting amplifier

1. Is it possible to give differential inputs to OPA699?

2. What is the propagation delay expected from worst case point of view?

3. What about the impedance matching? since i am working with differential input signal operating at 15MHZ?

4. Please let me know if an evaluation board can be purchased for the components?

Hi,

Yes, you can use the OPA699 in a standard difference amplifier configuration to use differential inputs. It's hard to estimate the exact propagation delay and it will depend on if you are hitting the limiters or not, but I would expect in the range of 1-10ns.

Actually, this was back in the days when I was having Rea Schmid do these models as simplified transistor level models - so the prop delay both linear and clipping might well simulate pretty well.
