Hi Expert,

There is only the junction temperature for LM339  and no mentioned the ambient temperature? Can you provide the ambient temperature of LM339?

    In order to calculate the junction temperature from the ambient temperature, you can use the junction to ambient thermal resistance value in Section 7.4 (Thermal Information).  Multiply the respective number for your package by the quiescent current times operating voltage of the comparator to obtain the added heat that the junction experiences over the ambient temperature.
