Hi,

We are try to use LMH6505 VGA OP to compensate signal into line wave.

In my real application want to convert the below real wave, convert it into line wave(y = K * X + B, y is voltage, X is light), the bandwidth should be at least 10M. I supposed should be analog chip as LMH6505. We tried it, seems that it can't realize the function. Would you like give any recommend? In ideal is that convert the forum as below.

Hello Kent,

Could you clarify what issues you ran into with the LMH6505? Note that the plot Vg vs Gain is only linear when you are considering gain in a dB scale. For a similar alternative that is linear in a V/V scale for gain, you may want to look into the LMH6503.
