AMC1211-Q1: output swing

Part Number: AMC1211-Q1

I see in the datasheet that the typical common-mode output voltage is 1.44V, and that's with a VDD2 of 3.3V.

If the gain is 1, and the linear input voltage range is 0-2V, does the output swing beyond VDD2 and below GND2? It seems that VOUTP would vary from 1.44 - 3.44V and VOUTN from 1.44V to -0.56V, unless I'm misunderstanding something.

  • Hi Ryan,

I think there is a little confusion with how the single ended to differential output swing looks. The 0-2V input would correspond to a 0-2V differential (VOUTP - VOUTN) output. Take a look at figure 20. in the datasheet and let me know if it clears things up!
