OPA197: Continues Power Consumption details

Part Number: OPA197

Hi Team,

Our customer is requesting for the continues power consumption details of the following op-amps:

1. OPA197IDBVR
2. OPA365AIDBVR
3. TLV2313IDGKR

If it is needed to create separate threads for these devices, please let me know so I can create different threads.

If you need also more information from the customer, please let me know.

Thanks!

Jonathan

  • A power consumption is a function of current and voltage, P=I*V.  Thus, under the quiescent conditions P=IQ*Vs where IQ is a quiescent current and  Vs is the total power supply voltage, [V(+) - V(-)].  Under loaded condition, where current comes out or flows into the output terminal, the power consumption is increased by the Iload*(Vdrop) where Vdrop is the avarage voltage across the output transistor inside the op amp sourcing or sinking the load current.  Therefore, the power consumption is a function of specifc conditions used by the customer - more specifically, it's a function of supply voltages, output voltage and load current.

  • Hi Jonathan,

We haven't heard from you in a while. We hope the issue was resolved. I am going to close this thread now. If you have any additional comments, please reply to re-open.

  • Hi Tamara and Marek,

Thank you for this response. I already shared this with our customer and ask him to respond for more questions.
Since the customer did not anymore respond, I think it's okay to close this thread for now.

    Thanks for the great support.
