Other Parts Discussed in Thread: XTR116
Hi,
I'm making a 4-20mA 2-wire calibration device. The PGA308 Vout voltage, how to calculated only knowledge with current. For GDAC and ZDAC values.

Hi Mert,
Thank you for your post. Our lead engineer for this device is out of office, returning early next week. We will get an answer to you shortly.

Hi Mert,
The PGA308 is a programmable gain amplifier voltage output device; and therefore all the GDAC/ZDAC coefficients are expressed in voltage.
The device can be connected to a 4-20mA current output transmitter, such as the XTR116 (two-wire 4mA to 20mA current transmitter).
The PGA308 EVM schematic shows an example of the PGA308 output connected to the XTR116 4-20mA two-wire current loop transmitter. This circuit, converts the voltage output of the PGA308 in to 4-20mA current output. In this particular circuit, accepts a full-scale 4.096V signal from the PGA308 output and this signal is converted scaled to a 4-20mA output. For more information, please read the XTR116 datasheet.
Thank you and Regards,
Luis
