AMC1302: Input bias current affecting high side current measurement

Part Number: AMC1302
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AMC1301

Dear sir/madam,

I am in fact encountering the problem of the AMC1302's input bias current. I'm trying to do high side current sensing of a current of +/- 2 mA (max) on a line at +/- 5 kV (max, although usually not more than +/- 3kV). Because of the high common mode signal I chose the AMC1302 which has a high isolation voltage. The shunt resistor is 25 Ohm. When simulating I saw that the zero of the output was shifted by a few mV. After further investigation I realized that the input bias currents was of the order of  40 uA and 30 uA which affected my measurement. The input bias offset current is therefore about 10 uA which is much higher than the 10 nA claimed in the datasheet. Could you please give me more information on how to correct for this input bias current offset?

Kind regards,
