TLV9064-Q1: can it get signal from IN+/- pins before powered?

Would you please tell me if it can get signals from IN+/- pins before powered from V+? Does it have any timing requirements between IN+/- and V+?

Hi Yoshikazu,

you must never violate the "absolute maximum ratings". Not even during power-up.

Hello Kai,

Thank you for your quick reply. I understand it can't get inputs before powered since the absolute maximum ratings for input pins is (V+)+0.5V. I'll tell it to my customer.

Hi Kawasaki-san,

Kai is correct, the inputs should never be present before the device is powered up otherwise damage may occur to the device. There is also the possibility of powering other devices with the input signal as described in "The Self-Powering Device?"
