INA4180: Derating requirements

Part Number: INA4180

Hi Team,

Happy New Year!

Need your inputs on this. For the analog inputs, IN+, IN– datasheet states the recommended common mode is -0.2 V to 26 V. Does this value need to be derated so that the component would last for 5 years of continuous operation? If so, by how much should it be derated? Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards,

Jejomar

  • Hello Jejomar,

    Happy New Year!

There is no need to derate the INA4180 common-mode voltage from the recommended range of -0.2V to +26V. The device will work just fine for 5 years or more of continuous operation at these conditions.
