OPA695: Power Supply for EC table

Part Number: OPA695

Hi Team,

The electrical characteristics table doesn't point out the power supply, may I know the power supply, is it single supply or dual supply?

Is there the EC table with single +5V power supply?

Thanks and Best Regards!

Hao

  • Hello Hao,

Thanks for bringing this up, will plan on getting this fixed in the datasheet. The electrical characteristics starting on page 5 use a supply of +/- 5V dual supply. Starting from the AC performance on page 8 the characteristics then use a single supply of +5V.

    Best,

  • Hello Hao,

The power supply used for characterization does not seem to be in its usual place; which you have pointed out to be above the EC Table. I did manage to find it listed as a spec, specified operating voltage, on page 7 and page 11. The first EC Table (page 5-7) is specified at dual supply (+-5V), while the second EC Table (page 8-11) is specified at single supply (+5V). Also, Figure 50 and 51 has a in-depth schematic which describes the test circuit used for +5 single supply specifications for the second table and select typical characteristic curves.

    Thank you,

    Sima

  • That appears to have been an error inserted in the 2015 rev.

The 2009 revision to my original 2003 datasheet inserted here are clearly marked for supplies on the two spec tables, not sure why anyone would rev. that out.

  • Hi Micheal, Sima and Hasan,

Thanks for confirming the power supply. I will use the datasheet provided by Micheal for reference.

    Thanks and Best Regards!
