it may sound trivial but can you share the schematics or layout, please? How are e.g. the SOT23-5 pins connected to the DIP-8 pins? 1->1, 2->2, 3->3, 4->4, 5->5 or 1->1, 2->2, 3->3, 4->6, 5->8?

Hans,

Adapter connection between SOT-23-5 and DIP-8 (or SO-8) must be made according the pin functionality - see below.

Therefore,

SOT23-5 DIP-8 (SO-8)

pins 1 -> pin 6

pins 2 -> pin 4

pins 3 -> pin 3

pins 4 -> pin 2

pins 5 -> pin 7
