I have some older boards we need to ID as RoHS or non-RoHS. Is there a date code or package marking that will identify the LM321 parts installed as RoHS or not?

Hi Stephen,
Do you know the full part number? If you don't, a picture of the top-side markings would help.
If you dig around on the part's page on ti.com, you'll come across the following information. Looks like the "NOPB" parts are ROHS compliant and the others are not.
Let me know if you you have any further questions.
Regards,
Daniel
Stephen,
Do you have the full part numbers? Do you know approximately how old the boards or LM321 may be?
Samples of top side markings would also be helpful.
Hi Ron,
The parts are LM321MF, a 5 pin sot-23 type package. The boards are 1-3 years old. Top marking is A63A on all of the LM321 parts. I do not know if the are the /NOPB option or not. Thanks for any help.
Steve
Steve,
Unfortunately the marking on the bottom is needed to find the date code. LM321MF/NOPB was RoHS in 2007, however the LM321MF is not RoHS even today. There is no obvious way to tell if the devices on board are /NOPB or not as the top marking is the same. With the bottom marking, I may be able to find out the full part number.
Thanks Ron,
We will assume not RoHS at this point as I do not see the /NOPB references in sourcing documents.
Best Regards
