INA260: Ina260 abnormal data of voltage and current

In the process of using ina260, reading the current and voltage values of the path will result in a probabilistic data exception, with a value of 0 or much greater than the normal value. The measurement of IIC signal quality is OK. Is there any other reason that may cause this abnormal phenomenon? The data of abnormal voltage is read as the value of current. Is the data string wrong? Hi,

Are these decimal values shown in the Excel table?

Here is an experiment I can think of in order to find a direction for the next step of the investigation - While keeping everything else unchanged, disable current reading for now, only read the voltage. If the issue disappears, then it could be related to register address setting command. And that’s where you could look into further.

have you scope plots of the sensed current as well? Is the current stable? Have you confimed it by measurement?

The read-only voltage does not have abnormal data when tested.

Hi,

I would restore current reading commands, and set up a trap so that the I2C activity is captured when abnormal reading occurs. Please inspect the communication leading up to, and including the read register returns. This should make clear what type of problem this is – be it the part or software.
