OPA4191: RUM(WQFN) pacakge CAD (*.bxl) file

Part Number: OPA4191

Hi,

I would like to request the cad file of OPA4191IRUMR.

It is not in the website or product folder.

I am using Altium to design schematic.

Thanks in advance.

  • Hello Jaehoon,

I am checking with our internal resources to see what it will take to get the OPA4191 RUM package CAD file for you. Please understand that most TI employees are working from home so this may be a bit more difficult than usual.

  • Hello Jaehoon,

Earlier this week I submitted a work order to have the CAD and .bxl files created for the OPA4191IRMR RUM package. I just checked the status on the TI website and it indicates that the development is "Queued for Work." I don't have any control over when the work will be completed as it is in a queue, but as soon as the work has been completed we will provide the information to you.

  • Thanks Thomas.

I will look forward to hearing back from you soon.

Hope you stay healthy and strong.

  • Hello Jaehoon,

Thanks much. I hope all is good out your way at USC.

I have received an internal message saying that the new OPA4191IRMR RUM package .bxl file should appear in the web page CAD/CAE Symbols within the next 24 to 48 hours. This is the first time I have used the system so I hope everything works as planned.

I'll keep an eye on things to make sure you can get access to the .bxl file as soon as it becomes available.

    Regards, Thomas

  • Hello Jaehoon,

It seems like the OPA4191 RUM .bxl file should have loaded to the CA/CAE Symbols section of the OPA4191 web page by now, but it hasn't. I do have access to the new .bxl file internally so I copied it to my local drive. I was able to view it from Ultra Librarian, but I am not set up to view a .bxl file directly from Altium. Rather than having to wait for the files to post on the web page, I have attached the file for your review.

Let me know if this provides you what you need.

    Regards, Thomas

  • Hi Thomas,

Thank you so much. I have just checked the attachment and successfully convert and load them to my desgin.

One quick question is where should I connect the thermal pad(pin 17)? Is it supposed to be connected to GND or V-??

    I use +3V for V+ and -3V for V- in my design.

    Regards,

    Jaehoon

  • Hello Jaehoon,

I am glad the new OPA4191 RUM package CAD information is what you needed. Do connect the OPA4191 RUM package thermal pad to a PC board thermal pad trace having the V- potential applied to it.

If this information takes care of all of your OPA4191 RUM questions please do close this e2e inquiry.

    Best Regards, Thomas
