OPA836: looking for VGA signal driver solution

Hi Team,

my customer is looking for VGA  signal driver solution which meet VESA1.1 SPEC,

they are reference MAX4380 & ISL55033 now and asking if we have the similar device which can fit the application above,

I check the similar features opamp and found OPA836 or OPA830 might suitable in this case, please kindly help to suggest which solution is more fit ,

or there's other solutions suitable in this case,

    Actually Andy, that question came in to me at Intersil some years back and the ISL55033 was the right solution - at the time this was coming in from IBM, not sure this is the same thing but if so, the ISL55033 is kind of unique part (and kind of an orphan at the time with no sales) - I don't think the TI HSP group ever did a similar part - triple fixed gain of 2 is common, RRout with that is not.

    Hello Andy,

    Can you clarify what specs the customer is looking for? Both the MAX4380 & ISL55033 have different features (one is a gain block and the other is just an amplifier). Both parts also have different bandwidth specs.

    So Actually Andy, I am starting to forget all the parts I have worked on (>155 introductions) - but you might look at the OPA3832 - topologically similar to the ISL55033 but much slower.
