OPA847: Model not working due to undefined model in switch

Part Number: OPA847

Hello

I have the same problem as mentioned in the thread linked to this post.

The model of the OPA847 that I imported into ADS doesn't work, apparently due to syntax errors in the model of the switches. I get the following error message:

Error detected by hpeesofsim during netlist flattening.

`opa847_model_s1.s_s1' is an instance of an undefined model `spice_vswitch'.

Could somebody explain to me how to how to change the syntax of such a model to get it working in ADS or could somebody please fix the model for me?

  • Probably an element associated with the disable function - ADI does not try to support that and TI model updates seem to be dropping that feature as well,

That said, looking the product folder, I see an ADS model ? Is that what you are using, I would have thought they might have verified operation

If I open the Rev C TINA model, circa 2008 and still has the disable,
