LF411QML-SP: Metal Lid or Lid is internally grounded?

Part Number: LF411QML-SP
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMD18200QML

Hi team,

My customer wants to know if the LF411QML-SP has a metal lid. If it does, they want to check if the metal lid is internally grounded, or provides a pad for floating, or is floating.

Can you please help and provide if they have a metal lid, if that lid is internally grounded, or if there’s a pad provided to ground the lid? Or something else which you can add in the comments field?

Thanks,

AH

  • Hello AH,

Ceramic devices do have metal lids however they are electrically unconnected, floating. The material for lid may not be metal. Please use Kirby's answer.

  • On this particular product, the package does not have a metal lid.

It can be seen from the package drawing in the datasheet that there is no thin metal lid on top of the package.

In most cases, the ceramic DIP and the ceramic dual inline flatpacks that came from National (products ending in "QML" or "QML-SP") do not have metal lids.

    The exception is the LMD18200QML.
