TLV8801: performance over temperature

Part Number: TLV8801

Team,

My customer has a question I hope you can help with:

We are currently using a TLV8801DBVT as the input stage of a pH amplifier.  We are seeing that as the temperature of the component increases (to 140F) our reading drops by ~250mV.  We are well within the operating range of the component and we have calculated the effect of the input bias current on the readings and don’t feel that’s the issue but we cannot seem to place what could be causing what we are seeing.

We would appreciate your guidance.

Thanks

    Hello Viktorija,

    Thanks for your question!

Can you please clarify what you mean by pH amplifier?  Do you mean it is measuring pH levels or something else?   When you say "the component," do you mean the amplifier itself or something else?

If you could provide a schematic, it would help a lot.  Where in the schematic did you measure the reading dropping by 250mV?

Looking forward to helping you out some more.

    Regards,

    Daniel
